Cookie Policy

Every cookie this site might set, in plain words, and how to change your mind later. Draft for now while we finish it.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website leaves on your device. Some are there so the site works at all. Others are optional, and you decide about them.

We ask the first time you visit. Analytics and advertising are on until you switch them off. You can change either answer whenever you want.

The three kinds we use

  • Needed to run the site. Just one cookie, and all it does is remember what you chose here. Always on.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, so we can see which pages actually help people and fix the ones that do not. On until you switch it off. If you do, no analytics cookies are set, but Google Analytics still gets a basic note that a page was opened, sent without any cookie.
  • Advertising. Google Ads, loaded through Google Tag Manager, so Google can measure whether our ads lead to enquiries and show you our ads, including on other websites. On until you switch it off.

Changing your mind

Use the button just above, or the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer of any page. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser, though bits of some sites stop working properly when you do.

The one third party

Our analytics and advertising cookies come from Google, and the basic page notes described above go to Google. What Google does with that data is covered by its own policies:

Updates to this list

If we add or swap out cookies, we will update this list and ask for your permission again where we need to.

Last updated September 2026. This is still a draft while we finish it off, especially the part about how long we keep things.
